The Closing Process
Notifying your service providers and utilities of your closing date should be done a few weeks in advance of closing. Your listing agent will ask for a list of your service providers to give to the Buyer so that they can set up accounts in their name as of the closing date. Just prior to closing, the Buyer will do the final walk through at the property accompanied by the listing agent.
Your attorney will handle all legal aspects of your sale from Purchase and Sale Agreement to closing including the HUD settlement statement.
